Marion County Public Health

essential services of Public Health and the art and science of nursing,
education, and other public health related disciplines to promote, preserve, and
restore the health of individuals and the community.

community resource, and caregiver, who uses scientific based information to
educate, empower, and encourage independence for individuals and families.
The public health professional maintains, promotes, and restores health through
caring, coordinating, educating, and collaborating interdependently with
community partners.
